Joe and his wife, Kim, have been married for 35 years.  Oldest daughter, Becky, is a nurse at the Heart Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.  Son, D.J., his wife, Danya, and their two boys, live on the homeplace where together with Joe, run the Angus herd, a flock of ewes, as well as farming corn, soybeans, and other hay and forage crops.  Danya works off the farm for a nearby agricultural company.  Brianna, the youngest, is in Lincoln, NE where she works as a Meat Processing Specialist for a technology company focused on automation for food processing.
