The number 1 thing in any cow calf operation, whether commercial or purebred, is the mother cow. Our goal is a set of cows that can perform in any environment.  A cow that can convert forage and thrive with minimum maintenance. We demand a cow that can get out, cover ground, and take care of herself. A cow that is sound made and as close to as good of udder as possible. It is rare that we ever cull a cow because of a bad udder. These cows must generate a calf that will excel as a replacement or in the feedlot.

The bulls we select to sell each year have their own set of standards. We put focus on structural soundness and productivity traits. Our bulls are good on their feet, clean sheathed, and have a large scrotal circumference. They will get out and cover cows. The first comment people make when they walk through the bulls is how much they appreciate their disposition.​

These bulls will be delivered in breeding condition. They will not look like fat cattle and they will not melt away.
